Aptiv Employer Branding

I was approached by Aptiv, a global technology supplier, for a project to give their employer branding a sense of identity for hiring teams. The challenge? Use all the current brand guidelines, CMS and web frameworks, and existing content that Aptiv had available.

The Aptiv team was looking for a fresh perspective on how to use their all their existing brand guidelines, website framework, and current content to create a new, unique identity for their employer branding. The goal was to follow all the Aptiv brand guides and rules that had been set in place, but allow the hiring teams to have their own unique execution of it to give them an identity of their own.

The result was a softer approach to Aptiv’s modern, sharp brand identity. The elements introduced for this project was inspired by the drafting table and early collaboration that happens at the start of projects. From teams working through the rough drafts and drawing it out on a white board. I took the monochromatic branding that Aptiv already owned and applied new, colorful elements that allowed the Aptiv team to create fun and excitement when appealing to prospective hires.

Dotted draft paper, polaroids, sticky pads and highlighters were all visual elements I used to elevate the Aptiv brand into something that the employer brand team could replicate and evolve internally over time.
